Pixel Association Reboot

Alright guys, I know this is somewhat a long shot now but I think we should reboot the PA. Currently, I am in Papua New Guinea, so that means lacking Internet. However, I can easily provide an administrative role on the forums and I can still upload pixel art.

As a summary, we were previously based out of PMC with Sparkles running the group. From there, we moved on to the forums with myself coming into second command. We ran this happily for a few weeks I'd say. But attention began to move to the server with Yise graciously running it for us. It was at this point that I wish we had stopped. However, ambition on my part drove us on to run our own server apart from Yise and this was our downfall. Members fell away from drama within the PA.

For this reason, I've noticed a few key members that are sticking around. That would be Rabid, Solemnote, VividJolt, Dr_A and Trigger. Looking back over things, I must say these members seem to be the core. Even outranking involvement of Sparkles.

From this point I suggest a revolution. Let us turn this forum around, name ourselves something else and go back to our roots. We joined because of pixel art, so let's go back to that.

Due to past messages from Sparkles, he places me evenly alongside him. However, due to his position, I think we should go about this diplomatically. Considering my position, I elect Rabid, Solemnote, Vividjolt, Dr_A and Trigger to be part of the PA board (yeah, I know, funny...). It is within their powers to vote and make decisions for the PA with a majority ruling. This brings a member input into things.

Now then, I propose we rename ourselves, remove the position of leader (I'll drop down to board member) and reform ourselves as a select group of members that we may increase in the future.

All in agreement, say "Aye".

I think this is a great idea and starting from scratch will open up more possibility's that we were once limited before. I am all for this idea!

Before I respond, I just want to say, Zitz!, Long time no see!.. Ahem... xD

Now, as far as my response to this goes, I think it's a good idea, and If I understand this correctly, then myself, along with the others zitz was mentioning, would all be equal "leaders", for lack of a better word, that would vote on decisions that effect what ever it is we decide the name of the new PA will be.

*Ooh, I thought of a name, The Republic of Pixelers... although that may change the fact that zitz was mentioning naming us "leaders", the PA board.*

Now, I'm going to bring up the fact of a server. I know this may be a touchy subject, considering our past experiences. I think if we do this correctly, it can be successful. We could potentially have a server, if we can find a way to pay for it, and still still stick to pixel art. By that I mean, we could have a creative server, but only allow pixel art. One way we could do this is, perhaps customizing plot sizes to fit different pixel arts(i.e. the plots would be 1 by X).

*Edit* - I just wanted to apologize for not being active or on here recently. I know this may sound like an excuse, but I have been really busy with school. Recently switched into a difficult class as well(AP Computer Science, a programming class).

I think we should reform. I read this awhile ago and never responded. But yes, we need to bring the pixel association back (or whatever we call it) That way we can get back to some real pixel art!

I also think that since we get new names. We should get rid of the original Pixel Association Style Characters. I have a cool style that i used for my character and I can make it for all the Pa Board members if any of you guys desire.

Okay to be serious, we need to decide whether if we are going to create a new forum, or re-format this whole website and call it another name, after that, we have to debate in another title for ourselves, or just keep the old one. Finally, all of us need a way to recruit more members in a safe and easy way.

So let us start with step 1.

If I may interject, I think step one should be to schedule a meeting. Whether or not it's on skype, steam, or whatever. We need to schedule a meeting consisting of the board members in order to discuss important topics such as a new site.

I agree, I think we are headed in the right direction and we need to discuss the topic. We should arrang this soon so we can get this reboot started!

So, basically about a month ago, Zitzabis made a post, this one, proposing that we rejoin as a possible new "association", that would be lead by a board of a few members that have essentially already been picked. I would highly suggest that you go back and read his original post again, especially if you haven't already.

Unfortunately, until Zitz can get on, and stay on for long enough, the,what is for now going to be called the PA board, can't schedule a meeting to discuss plans
